I have drafted up an extremism spectrum disorder tool and posted on my blog but going the next step and doing the science would of course be a massive undertaking. Someone needs to do it as too many shy away from evil and pretend that it's always the other and couldn't possibly happen to them or the people around them. An extremism spectrum disorder makes sense to me because most people are somewhere on the spectrum with how they defend their most preciously held beliefs.
